(Senior) Consultant Aerospace & Defense

Capgemini Invent is the strategy and transformation consulting arm of Capgemini, advising major European aerospace, defence, and space industry clients on digital and organisational transformation. The firm's Aerospace and Defense practice engages clients across all military domains — including Space — on some of the most consequential industrial and strategic challenges facing European defence today. This (Senior) Consultant role sits within that practice and involves working on complex client engagements spanning ramp-up acceleration, supply chain resilience, AI integration, digital collaboration, and software-defined and connected battlespace architectures. The postholder will advise national and international clients at management level, identify technological and organisational gaps, develop innovative solutions, and support their implementation on the client side. The role is relevant to space policy and security professionals with consulting or industry backgrounds who are interested in bridging strategic analysis with the practical transformation challenges facing European aerospace and defence clients. It offers structured career development within an internationally leading consultancy, with explicit scope across the space domain alongside broader A&D sectors. Fluency in German and English at C1 level or above is mandatory.

Practical professional experience and initial project or stream leadership experience in a consulting or international corporate environment Successfully completed university degree in business, economics, computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a comparable field Strong interest in digital transformation and Aerospace and Defense topics Excellent communication skills, team orientation, and confident client-facing manner Fluency in German and English at minimum C1 level (both mandatory) Flexibility and willingness to travel for client engagements
