| Contract | Full-time |
| Salary | Not specified |
| Deadline | 2026-06-10 |
Planet Labs operates the largest constellation of Earth-imaging satellites in history, delivering daily global coverage to governments, NGOs, researchers, and commercial entities. Its Sustainability and Impact Team works at the intersection of satellite data and humanitarian and environmental outcomes, partnering with leading universities, intergovernmental bodies, and civil society organisations to apply Earth observation to the world's most pressing challenges.
This Impact Engagement Manager role is based in Nairobi and focuses on expanding Planet's impact footprint across Africa, with particular emphasis on food security, disaster response, conservation, climate adaptation, and humanitarian action. The role is relevant to space policy and governance professionals interested in how Earth observation data is operationalised within international development, humanitarian, and sustainability frameworks, and how commercial satellite operators navigate partnerships with multilateral institutions and civil society. It sits at the nexus of space applications policy, data governance, and international cooperation.
