U.S. Space Command (USSPACECOM) is the combatant command responsible for joint space operations, currently relocating to Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, Alabama. The Logistics and Engineering Directorate (J4) manages the full spectrum of logistics, engineering, and support functions enabling USSPACECOM's operational readiness. This Agreements Coordinator serves as the command's expert in Support Agreement Management (SAM), Memorandums of Understanding and Agreement (MOU/A), Acquisition and Cross-Service Agreements (ACSA), Theatre Security Cooperation (TSC), and Multi-National Logistics (MNL). The postholder will serve as the USSPACECOM focal point for all agreements matters, integrating closely with the Operational Contract Support programme manager, interpreting partner nation and DoD acquisition and logistics directives, coordinating inter- and intra-service agreements and multinational logistics plans, and ensuring USSPACECOM's agreements architecture is reflected in OPLANs, CONPLANs, and EXPLANs. While primarily a logistics and agreements management role, the position sits at the intersection of international military cooperation and space domain planning — requiring knowledge of U.S. national policy including the National Security Strategy, National Defense Strategy, and Unified Command Plan. It offers direct engagement with multinational logistics frameworks and the command's international partner network, making it relevant to professionals with backgrounds in international agreements, defence logistics, or space operations support.
